उत्तर प्रदेश नगर पालिका और नगर पंचायत चुनाव के लिए प्रशासन की ओर से कार्यक्रम आदेश जारी कर दिया है। निर्वाचन आयोग के निर्देश अनुसार अप्रैल महीने के पहले दिन निर्वाचक नामावलियों का अंतिम प्रकाशन किया जाएगा।

इसमें नगरीय निकाय चुनाव को लेकर ड्राफ्ट निर्वाचक नामावली का प्रकाशन से लेकर अंतिम प्रकाशन तक का कार्यक्रम तय किया है। अलग-अलग तारीख अवधि के बीच प्रक्रिया को पूर्ण किया जाएगा। एक अप्रैल को निर्वाचक नामावलियों को अंतिम प्रकाशन किया जाएगा। इसके बाद निकाय चुनाव को लेकर आयोग से आचार संहिता लागू होगी।

निकाय चुनाव को लेकर जारी कार्यक्रम के अनुसार ड्राफ्ट निर्वाचक नामावली का प्रकाशन 10 मार्च, ड्राफ्ट के रूप में निर्वाचक नामावली का निरीक्षण तथा दावे एवं आपत्तियों का प्राप्त करना 11 से 17 मार्च तक, दावा एवं आपत्तियों का निस्तारण 18 से 22 मार्च तक, दावे एवं आपत्तियों के निस्तारण के बाद पूरक सूचियों पंडुलपियों की तैयारी तथा पूरक सूची-1 में समाहित करने की तिथि 23 से 31 मार्च तक अंतिम रूप से तैयार निर्वाचक नामावलियों के लिए प्रकाशन एक अप्रैल को होगा। बता दें कि नगर निकाय में आरक्षण को लेकर दिसंबर 2022 में चुनाव टल गया था।
